Brookfield Congregational church to host concert, vacation Bible school

BROOKFIELD - Come set sail with us this summer on a high seas adventure. Feel the sea spray on your face and the sails snap overhead. Our crew will be casting off each day at the Brookfield Congregational Church from July 26 - July 30 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Brookfield Institute to hold songwriters workshop

BROOKFIELD - The Brookfield Institute is holding its second annual workshop for would-be songwriters on Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5 at the Brookfield Inn, 8 W. Main St. People who may have tried to write a scrap of a song, but can’t seem to finish it or musicians who love to play, but haven’t tried their hand at composition would enjoy this workshop, as well as composers who want to hone their skills or learn new ways of creating.
